About Us

DANCE OFF! is a NSW Department of Education and Training Initiative that involves bringing excellence in dance education and training to kids in public schools in the western region. It is a 3 day camp where gifted and talented kids in dance go to be challenged, inspired and just dance dance dance for three days straight!!! They showcase their marvelous work in the three days to friends, family and VIPs.

It started off in 2008 with founder Kim Rhodes who organised and coordinated the junior (Junior - Primary School) camp.  The camp was hugely successful which enabled the funding and commissioning of the Dance Off! Senior camp by the Regional Arts grants where Launcelot Roma (Senior - High School) was brought in to co-organise and instruct the event.

With 234 schools in the western region that spans from the Blue Mountains and beyond over to Parramatta and across to the hills district, it is an amazing task to be providing talented kids the opportunity to increase their dance vocabulary and their repertoire to become a more mature and versatile dancer.
